Privacy Policy

We are Registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as it applies in the UK, tailored by the Data Protection Act 2018.

ICO is: “the UK’s independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.”

We retain personal information (contact details, email exchanges and program notes) solely for the purposes of providing the services of our business as requested by that individual. The information is given to us by the individual when requesting services, for example when signing up to a mailing list, requesting information, or purchasing our services. We do not sell or pass on any information to third parties. The only exception to this is where we may be required to do so by law, e.g. for law enforcement or criminal investigation purposes.

We retain personal information for the duration of the provision of services, as legally required for retaining business records, or until the individual requests to be removed from our systems (for example by unsubscribing to a mailing list). Information is stored securely as per ICO guidance and can be seen upon request.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

If you have any concerns about our use of your personal information, you can make a complaint to us at our registered address (see Companies House register).

You can also complain to the ICO if you are unhappy with how we have used your data.
